Marketing Education Course Offerings:
Marketing & Management I - Principles: This junior/senior-level course focuses on the study of marketing concepts and principles and their everyday use. Students examine risks and challenges marketers face to establish a competitive edge. Subject matter includes economics, marketing foundations/functions with emphasis on selling, promotion (advertising), product/service management, pricing, and distribution. In addition, this course explores human resource and leadership development. (This course can substitute for Economics.)
Marketing & Management II - Advanced Strategies: This senior-level course is a study of marketing concepts and principles used in management. Students examine challenges, responsibilities and risks managers face in today's workplace. Subject matter includes finance, entrepreneurship, risk management, marketing information systems, purchasing, human resourse skills, and leadership development.
Cooperative Methodology I & II: This is a work-based-learning program under the supervision of the marketing teacher. The student must submit an application, and be approved by the marketing instructor prior to registration. The program is open only to seniors and the maximum number of credits per year is 2 credits.
