Construction Course Offerings
Residential Construction 1 & 2: These classes provide students with up-to-date information on building materials and construction methods along with practical hands-on learning. Some of the areas covered include building site layout, foundations, masonry work, wall and roof framing, and interior and exterior finishes. These courses are designed to expose students to the many career opportunities in the construction industry.
Residential Wiring: This class is designed to introduce students to the basic principles and skills used in house wiring projects. Areas covered include safe wiring practices, circuit components, electrical materials, planning a branch circuit, and the service entrance panel. This course will provide the student with the skills and confidence needed to undertake simple wiring projects and expose him/her to potential career opportunities in the electrical field.
