Return books to the circulation desk.

Expectations

1.  Sign in and out at the circulation desk.
2.  Be courteous.  Be respectful.
3.  You must have a signed green slip/library pass from your teacher.
4.  All computer, headphone, ipod, etc., volumes should be so low that the person next to you cannot hear your media.
5.  Quiet is good.  Use a low volume for your voice should you need to chat.
6.  Only one person on a computer at a time.  No standing behind computer desks.

Check Out

Regular books may be checked out for a two-week period.  You may renew your books one time.

Reference books may be check out for 1 day and cannot be renewed.  The fine for a reference book is $.50 cents per day.

FEES

A late fee of .25 cents per day accumulates for 60 days (a total of $15.00).  After 60 days, the book is assumed to be lost.

The lost book fine is the cost of the book.

Overdue fines and lost book fines need tobe paid within 2 weeks of the first notice.

Notices are given out every Friday.
Parents are notified after 30 days of unpaid fines, at which time the fines revert to a school fine placed on your permanent record.

 

 

Desktop Computers

Students may use the desktop computers to do class work, homework, or research, etc.
 Students may check email during their lunch times. 
Print only what you need for your classes.  Please ask for paper  to put in the printer. And do your best to conserve paper.  Printing for personal use is $.25 cents per page.
Only one person on a computer at a time.  No standing behind computer desks.

 

Laptop Computers

As always, laptops may be reserved by teachers for use in the Media Center.   Teacher use has priority over student use.

As available, up to 10 laptops may be checked out for use  in the Media Center by students who need to work on classroom assignments . 

The COW's are reserved by teachers for use in the classroom.

Reading is essential!
